About the Society Clubhouse
Erica Campbell and Jaime Dobbs are two co-founders of the Society of Beer Drinking Ladies (SOBDL), a collective launched in 2014 with the goal of creating safe spaces for women to enjoy beer. Through SOBDL events, Erica and Jaime have fostered a welcoming, community-oriented atmosphere for beer lovers in cities across Ontario.
In recent years, Erica and Jaime decided to bring this vibe to a brick-and-mortar space that would be open to all. In 2021, they began searching for a space that fit their vision and toured dozens of options across Toronto before finally finding a permanent home at 967 College Street in Dufferin Grove.
Today, the Society Clubhouse is a women-owned, community-driven space that includes a taproom, bottle shop, artisan market, and event space. We are open to everyone and we’re pleased to be part of such a vibrant neighbourhood.
Come by for a visit and check it out in person!
